More recent experiences include co-founder of a strategic e-commerce start-up and a partner in a financial consultancy/merchant bank. Currently, Jamil is a Director at Barons & Company, where he has worked for over eight years on assignments in retail, media, pharmaceuticals, financial services, life sciences and technology companies.

Jamil's extensive career includes senior financial positions at Exxon Chemical Asia Pacific, Chief Financial Officer for Continental Grain's Far East Division, Group Corporate Controller at Noble Group Ltd., and CFO of Rebound International Ltd., an online global B2B exchange.

A highly seasoned, hands-on and energetic professional with strong commercial outlook and strategic decision-making skills, he has a successful track record in manufacturing, commodity trading, e-commerce and financial services companies. With an extensive network developed through working at senior corporate level and in conducting executive search, Jamil has also operated widely throughout Asia Pacific, including Japan, Thailand, Korea, Singapore, the Philippines, Australia, Malaysia and China.
